Title: Neuroscience of relationships: finally, science is catching up with family therapists!

Abstract: Over the last 25 years, there has been significant advancement in neuroscience, particularly in understanding the connections between neuroscience and relationships. This progress underscores the importance of embracing a comprehensive perspective on human experiences. In this workshop, we will explore key principles aimed at bridging neuroscience with family therapy, including the integration of the entire body, understanding trauma and survival mechanisms, exploring attachment dynamics, examining neural circuits, and appreciating the concept of neuroplasticity.
