Family Therapist Team Leader Clinical Program

Looking for a highly experienced, innovative and motivated family therapist to take up a Team Leader role in the Clinical Team.

  • Full-Time, Fixed Term (3 years)
  • Located the Bouverie Centre (Brunswick)
  • HEO8 – TRP $118,289 – $135,268 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation

The Bouverie Centre is a systemic practice-research-translation centre that draws on its history of bringing family therapy to Australia to promote its vision of healthy relationships in families, organisations, and communities. The Bouverie Centre is a values–based, learning organisation, that integrates clinical, First Nations, practice & service development, academic, and research teams and programs to build systemic knowledge and expertise that is directed to making mental health and well-being better at all stages in life, in all cultures, for all people.

We are seeking a highly experienced, innovative and motivated family therapist/ trainer to take up a new position as Clinical Team Leader. This new position will report to and will be supported by the Clinical Program Manager and will play an active leadership role within the Clinical Program.

A key task of the Clinical Team Leader is to play a leading role in the exploration and development of new, innovative, effective, and efficient methods of providing Clinical Family Therapy that can be translated/applied to other health sector services. Along with the Clinical Program Manager and supported by the Bouverie Executive, this position will connect with other Bouverie Centre program’s Team Leaders as well as seek external funding, to develop new integrated practice – ‘clinical, research and translation’ projects.

In addition to the leadership role the incumbent will carry a family therapy caseload, provide professional development (PD) training (as part of the PD calendar and to external organisations), provide secondary consultation and clinical supervision and assist the Clinical Program Manager with other tasks e.g. line management tasks with the team, clinical quality improvement, clinical governance.
