We are excited to unveil our new visual identity. This new design comes with much thought and consideration. It includes a respectful acknowledgement of our history as well as a signal to our exciting future.
The process of updating our logo began with our re-alignment with La Trobe University and our emergence as an integrated practice-research centre. In launching this logo we would like to acknowledge the countless benefits of our relationship with La Trobe University, the ongoing support of our core funders, The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and the essential collaboration of our extensive network of partners who contribute to helping us enact our vision of enabling Healthy relationships in families, organisations and communities.
Click on the video above to hear our Director, Prof. Jeff Young, talk about this process and the significance of our new visual identity.
Our new logo and look are inspired by our core visual identity, the rainbow, and the spirit it symbolises – love, hope and transformation. The contemporary update incorporates a lightness which conveys a friendly strength and the increased use of space reflects a leaner focus on Bouverie and our openness to new ideas and the contribution of others. The invigorating colours retain the rainbow’s original purpose of being child and family friendly. The different and continuous lines reflect our values of embracing diversity, connectedness and continual development. In the following months, we will also launch our new website.
We remain committed to providing you with the same quality services, respect, and dedication which Bouverie has delivered since 1956. We will continue to acknowledge Australia’s First People whose knowledge and wisdom inform our practice. It is an era of potential renewal and one we are proud to share with you.
