The AASW branch invites you to this seminar, Working with Fathers and Families run by Dr Joseph Fleming. This seminar will explore the importance of the fathers’ role in family services and how programs can engage and support this opportunity. It will allow participants to review strengths-based ways to engage men using a child-centred approach and is full of practical tools, tips and links to resources that will significantly add to practice outcomes towards working effectively with men and families.

The AASW branch invites you to Trauma Informed Care workshop facilitated by Dr Ann O’Neill. This workshop will explore advanced skills and research to equip professionals working with people who have complex and extreme trauma experiences. This workshop will expand on generic concepts of Trauma Informed Care, and allow participants to develop models appropriate to their client group, and skills to support people in trauma-informed ways.
