Clinical Family Therapist

  • Full Time, Permanent
  • $90,835 – $93,960 plus superannuation (negotiable depending on skills, qualifications and experience)
  • Frankston, with some travel to other Family Life sites

The position
The position provides centre based and outreach services to address the effects of ongoing exposure to family violence, and assist families to achieve safety and stability.

The Clinical Family Therapist works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, trauma informed services to women, children and their families impacted by family violence and support the innovation of service responses and sector reform.

A day in the life of this position includes: delivering dyadic, attachment-focused therapy for children and their mothers affected by family violence, undertaking case management of clients, supporting co-workers with their cases, undertaking outreach work, and engaging with partners to develop innovative approaches to service delivery.
